These may sound like a mixed bag of topics but, as we head into the 2nd decade of the 21st Century, it is becoming clear that all of the above are connected. There are many examples of music and Social media which are able to really make a difference in matters of social Justice and Environmental/Sustainability.
These examples will appear in regular Blog posts.
Much work needs to be done but this is also a major opportunity with those with an entrepreneurial spirit (like me) to forge new paths and create new ways of doing things for the benefit of all.
About Me
Having spent 10 years of my life in roles that only mildly peaked my curiosity and passion, they did give me an understanding of sales & marketing, business processes and functions. I gained experience in Information and Communication Technology Industry covering the different levels of the Supply Chain - vendor. distribution and reseller/solution provider .
Whilst studying and graduating in Asia Pacific Marketing, I excelled in understanding the principles of human behaviour and have developed an avid interest in the possibility of Social Change. I have participated in and analysed the use of Social Media and Web 2.0 to achieve human engagement, empowerment and a new form of democratisation (particularly through the opportunities of Gov 2.0).
